1. Scope and pre-release status
This is Lunest’s pre-release privacy notice. Lunest is not publicly available yet. Before App Store, Google Play, or mainland China distribution, this notice will be reviewed against the final data flows, SDK list, server regions, and store disclosures.
2. Account information
Lunest may process an email address, internal user identifier, sign-in state, device/app version information, and security data needed for registration, verification, device management, and account protection. Passwords and verification codes are not analytics parameters.
3. Sleep and health-related data
Health-related permissions are requested only when a feature needs them and after clear user authorization. Exact fields, processing location, retention, and sync behavior will be documented for the release build. Lunest is a wellness and recovery product, not a medical diagnostic service.
4. Analytics
Lunest separates analytics by distribution region: the global build uses Firebase Analytics and the mainland China build uses Umeng Analytics. Analytics are used for product usage, retention, stability, and feature improvement.
- Raw health records and detailed sleep data are not ordinary analytics event payloads.
- Email addresses, passwords, and verification codes are not analytics parameters.
- The global and mainland China SDK configurations should remain region-specific.
5. Permissions
System permissions are requested only for features that need them, with a purpose explanation. Users can revoke permissions in system settings.
6. Subscriptions
If Lunest offers paid subscriptions, the applicable app store processes payment. Lunest may receive subscription status and entitlement information but not full card details.
7. Retention and deletion
Data should be retained only as long as necessary for product operation, user requests, security, and applicable legal obligations. Account deletion will remove deletable server-side data, subject to limited legally required or security-related retention.
8. Website launch updates
If you submit the website launch-update form, we process your email address plus any optional name, target platform and use-case details you choose to provide. The page path, referrer and UTM attribution parameters may also be recorded to understand where the request came from.
- This information is used for testing eligibility, launch updates and important release communication, not unrelated marketing.
- Attribution fields do not contain sleep or health records.
